CIS About Us

At CIS we believe that true development begins with people — their stories, their capacity, and their potential.

Founded by a proud Liberian with years of experience working across international development spaces, our journey began with a simple yet powerful question: How can we build capacity in a way that truly fits the communities we serve?

For too long, development efforts have relied on one-size-fits-all approaches that often overlook local realities. We saw the gaps — programs that promised growth but failed to adapt to the unique challenges, donors that complained of lack of capacity among locals, opportunities not adjusted to local context etc.

That’s why we created Center for Integrated Solutions. As the name implied, we are driven by solutions tailored from the various unique challenges and not just a quick-fix model. Our mission is to bridge the gap between global expertise and local needs by designing initiatives that prioritize localization, sustainability, and impact. We do not copy and paste foreign models; we craft strategies that respect context, empower individuals, and strengthen communities from within.

We pride ourselves in being the very first to plan, organize and execute the first localization summit that brough together development stakeholders to address direct needs of our community. We develop and maintain strategic partnerships including the government, international and national organizations, community members, etc. to continue to find community-driven solutions.

We are building the capacity needed for long-term change — one person, one project, one community at a time. Together, we believe we can rewrite the story of development in Liberia, Africa and the world
